Tetraspective

Imagine printing an image on a transparent film, then folding the film once vertically and once horizontally, and then looking through it, i.e. looking through the four overlapping quadrants of the image.

A similar operation can be performed on a digital image by interleaving its pixels, so to preserve both the size and the omnichromatic property of the image.

This image in particular is the result of applying the transformation to the Drifting Infusion image.
