The “dragonbush” pattern that I posted in 2013 involves a sequence of rotations, all in the same direction. Here is the same algo but with the turns keyed to 23 bits extracted from the letters RGBAL.

The color scheme is chosen (out of more than 2**33 possible) to make the most complex edges stand out.
