Escher Reptiles

Famous Escher's tiling. Large lizards consists of 512^2 pixels and small lizards has 64^2.

Since the screen does not have 3-fold symmetry, three kinds of pieces are not similar.

64 colors are grouped into 4 gray colors and 20 triplets of R-G-B permutation.

The 4 gray lizards do not fit into anywhere, so they are mashed into smaller pieces and filled the margin.
